Auto Inventory Generator

Generate or update inventory for a single hotel & room type across a date range. This sets totalRooms and recalculates availableRooms as totalRooms – booked for each day.

Hotel Hotels come from the hotels collection.

Room type Room types come from the selected hotel’s roomTypes map.

Start date

Number of days Limit 120 days per run (Firestore safety). Run multiple times to cover 365 days.

Total rooms per day for this room type For each date in range we will set totalRooms to this value and availableRooms to max(totalRooms – booked, 0). Existing bookings are never removed.

Tools

Utility tools for stop-sale and blocking rooms:

Use Inventory Manager > Bulk update to:
- Turn stop sale ON/OFF for a date range.
- Increase / decrease availableRooms to block rooms for VIPs or maintenance.
Use Bookings Manager to cancel / soft-delete bookings. (Optional future step: connect booking cancellation to auto-increase availability.)

Offers (simple text) Describe simple offers: “Stay 3 pay 2, valid till 31 March”. For detailed offers, use Offers tab.

Room types & pricing (advanced JSON) Optional. Edit all room types + extra adult / child prices here. Use valid JSON. Leave blank to keep existing roomTypes unchanged.

Inventory Manager – Rooms & Prices

View daily inventory like an Excel sheet. Edit blocked rooms, stop sale and prices directly in the grid. All changes auto-save to Firestore.

Filters example: Hotel “Haridwar Hotel” → Room Type “Deluxe” → Date range 2025-01-01 to 2025-01-07.

Hotel offers

Create simple offers mapped to hotels. Saved in a separate "offers" collection.
